Scalp Micropigmentation FAQ's

This is a virtually painless procedure. There is a light discomfort. For clients with pain sensitivity we do offer a numbing application.

We use Li Pigments who have been in business over 25 years and are one of the top trusted brands in the world. We also use Alivio pigments, which were created by one of the pioneers of the Scalp Pigmentation industry. The pigment is medical grade, reaching UK standards as well as approved by the FDA, and was specially formulated for SMP.

Our practice uses a variety of needles. We have the smallest needle in the world as well as many in increased sizes. Each client is unique and requires different tools to get the most hyper realistic results.

Technically speaking – yes. However this is a highly specialized treatment. All of the products we use were created specifically for these procedures. Also, we are not going deep like a regular tattoo. So it is a tattoo, but nothing like a piece of body art.

The average procedure is about 4-6 hours

On average 3-4 sessions. However some treatments may take more depending on the skin and other factors. We charge for the entire job not by session. This is a gradual procedure and we do not rush perfection.

Absolutely. This is a great way to add more density without having to go back and get more surgery. This is highly effective in the hairline area. Hair transplant surgeons can only get the grafts so close, it is very difficult for them to create a dense hairline. Scalp Pigmentation is perfect for this.

Yes, it is very effective at camouflaging these types of scars. We also offer Microneedling to help break down the scar tissue to help make it more smooth and a better canvas for the ink. Then we camouflage it with pigment for optimal results.

Yes. At any time if you want to add volume you can always get a hair transplant. It will add to the look,, you will have some extra density .

Adding density is a great way to enhance your hair transplant surgery. By placing follicle impressions throughout the scalp it will give the all around appearance of a full head of hair. Great results on the hairline. HIGHLY recommended.

There are many factors to consider when/if a head turns blue or green. It could be due to incorrect application by technician, incorrect aftercare by client, pigment selection or, in all actuality, it could be due to the skin of the treated area changing over time. For example, if you live somewhere bright and sunny, and move to somewhere dark and gloomy, the texture and appearance of your skin can/will change to adapt to its’ new environment. During this time the reflection of the pigment could change. Luckily, blue and green hues are the least of your worries with us. We specialize in the correction of those hues. It’s a very simple adjustment and something not to fear too much!

This very rarely happens. First call us and tell us what you don’t like – most of the time there is some type of adjustment we can do in office to help. In the worst case scenario, you would need to get a laser removal treatment. Although this sounds harsh, because of the high quality ink we use and how shallow we stay in the skin, the Scalp Pigmentation removes easily.

We base our prices on the surface area needing coverage. Price can average from $300-$600 per treatment. Scars and alopecia patients effect pricing as well.

Yes. Generally most people do not experience redness. Any redness should subside within 4-6 hours, in severe cases maybe 24 hours.

There is a 7 day healing process with the first 4 days being the most crucial. We give you detailed aftercare instructions you must follow.

Teeth Whitening FAQ's

After undergoing whitening, teeth shades will brighten up to 14 shades, with an average improvement of five to eight shades with each 20 minute session. Individual results will depend on your current tooth shade, treatment time, and the composition of your teeth. Your end result will be a whiter, healthier smile. Everyone's teeth are different and will have a natural stop point. We recommend a 60 minute session for optimal results and to remove all layers of staining.

This varies from person to person and depends on your diet and lifestyle. However, with proper maintenance and periodic touch-up treatments, you can keep your smile looking great for a lifetime.

Treatment times are 20 to 60 minutes depending on the discoloration of your teeth and how white you want them. It takes no longer than the time it would for you to have a haircut or a facial - it is that simple!

Yes, the whitening gel formulation is an organic plant and mineral based product with built in enamel building qualities. Scientific research has shown that the active ingredients in the Teeth Whitening Gels are safe and effective. Our whitening equipment is FDA approved and has been used throughout the dental and cosmetic community for years. Teeth Whitening does not change or damage the structure of the teeth; it merely lifts and removes the stains, making your teeth whiter.

The teeth whitening system uses the latest LED cold laser technology and our signature whitening gel consisting of natural plant and mineral ingredients. Our system has proven to yield superior results with little to no sensitivity when compared to other whitening systems.

No, because our signature laser gel is all natural the treatment does not hurt and most clients experience no sensitivity. A very small percentage of clients may feel some tooth sensitivity, especially if they are dehydrated or consume very cold/hot foods or drinks within two hours after the whitening session. Any sensitivity is short term and gone within 24-48 hours. We do offer solutions for those that are concerned about sensitivity.

Yes, teeth whitening will remove staining from existing dental work and take it back to the original color. Our goal is to clean up the existing dental work and whiten the natural teeth to match for a nice even smile. We cannot whiten them beyond the original color of the material used at the time of placement. If your existing dental work is not in your smile line it won’t matter either way because it is not visible.

Studies have shown that people with whiter teeth look younger and there is a correlation between high self-esteem and a bright, confident smile. Teeth Whitening is a great way to instantly enhance your appearance.

The Teeth Whitening treatment provides dramatic results for anyone who wants to whiten their teeth. This includes people with teeth that have been stained by smoking or by substances such as coffee, tea, soda, wine and other consumable items. We also see great results on people with teeth stained by tetracycline, fluoride, and hereditary discoloration.

Mens Microblading FAQ's

It's not a painful procedure. However, we do apply a topical numbing cream to the area to avoid any discomfort to the client. Of course, we will be checking on you throughout your treatment to make sure you are ok.

100%. Microblading is a treatment which simply enhances your existing features. It can be bold or softer depending on the requirements of each client. For men who prefer to be a bit more private about their treatment, we can easily achieve a softer, more natural result.

How long it lasts will depend on several different factors including your skin type and how much you follow the prep and aftercare advice that we provide to you. You will return for a top-up after your initial treatment and then they may last between 18-24 months.

Absolutely. We provide full aftercare advice on how to look after your rows to make sure you get full longevity of your treatment.

Definitely NOT! Do not have any waxing, tweezing or any treatments that may modify your brows prior to your treatment. In your consultation we will go through facial measurements and a custom brow line so we need them completely untouched.
